I’m very happy to announce that my paper “A Common Commitment: Civil Society and European Solidarity in the ‘Refugee Crisis'” has just been published in a volume edited by Timofey Agarin and Nevena Nancheva titled A European Crisis: Perspectives on Refugees, Solidarity and Europe (Ibidem Press, 2018).

The book analyzes the links between refugee migration and the perception of Europe in crisis, by looking at the construction of crisis narratives and the erosion of European core-concepts like solidarity.
