The award ceremony was a very illustrous event, held in the Allianz Forum directly at the Pariser Platz in Berlin, just across the square from the Brandenburg Gate.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere was celebratory and elegant, but\u00a0 also very friendly, and during the ceremony and the following dinner I was able to talk to a great number of very interesting people from the world of academia and beyond.
