{"id":957,"date":"2021-12-15T13:37:37","date_gmt":"2021-12-15T13:37:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/katharinacrepaz.com\/?p=957"},"modified":"2021-12-15T13:40:31","modified_gmt":"2021-12-15T13:40:31","slug":"minmig-final-report-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/katharinacrepaz.com\/?p=957","title":{"rendered":"MinMig Final Report Published!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The final report for my research project &#8220;MinMig &#8211; Accommodating Linguistic, Religious and Cultural Diversity Through a Comparative Analysis of Minorities&#8217; and Migrants&#8217; Claims&#8221;, funded by the Autonomous Province of Bozen\/Bolzano, has now been published in <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.5656645\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">English<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.5656755\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">German<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.5656767\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.5656767\">Italian<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MinMig consisted in a comparative analysis of the claims made by &#8220;old&#8221; national and &#8220;new&#8221; migrant minorities, focusing on the European Region Tyrol &#8211; South Tyrol &#8211; Trentino as a case study. The project aimed to shed light on the question whether &#8220;new&#8221; minorities strive for similar protection mechanisms to those in place for &#8220;old&#8221; minorities, and which measures designed for national minorities might be beneficially extended to migrant groups. Conducting diversity-related research in times of a global pandemic was a particularly challenging task, I&#8217;m therefore especially happy about the very interesting results that MinMig presented us with.
